Stories of our journey

Welcome to the reason why we have set up this homepage – we want to let you be part of our sailing voyage on our Kelly Peterson 44. Be it with good or bad news, if possible we’ll try to keep you updated with new sailing blog updates on a weekly basis about our experiences we make along the way.

Start here from the beginning…

No Better Time Than The Present

We’re back in Guaymas and diving into work. After ending our sailing season early this year, we wanted to treat ourselves and Milagros to something nice.

The Comforts of Solitude

After weeks of entertaining guests on Milagros, we finally found ourselves alone again. We have come to peace with our decision to head back north and welcomed solitude back to our lives with open arms.

Navigating Uncertainty: The Panama Dilemma

We welcome our next guest from Switzerland. Originally, we had planned to sail south with him, but as with most of a sailor’s plans, things didn’t go as expected.

Adventure on Milagros – A Travel Report

A travel report by Hürzi, who visited Milagros with Chrigi for two weeks. Together we sailed around Banderas Bay and indulged in sailing life.

Up. Down. Up. Down. Up. Down.

The passage to Mazatlàn took a bit of a toll on all of us. It gave us an opportunity to reflect on what lies behind and ahead of us. And ahead was where we wanted to go, after all.

From Madness to Memories

After a brief stay in La Paz, we sail south to the Mexican mainland. We are excited to finally explore new waters. However, things don’t go as planned and one mishap follows the next.

Our Farewell Tour

This trip down the Sea of Cortez also marks the end of an era, unfortunately. We’re on our farewell tour. As always we make the best of the situation and go sailing, exploring, make new friends and memories.

Gone with the Wind

We had about three weeks time until we had to be in La Paz. So, we wanted to explore a few more anchorages on the Baja side.

Dolphins for Breakfast

Travelling around the world, a little love for the dogs of El Mero, we have to say goodbye again, a big crossing, dolphins everywhere, and yet another change of plans. Much has happened in the past few weeks!
