For the next couple of weeks, we embarked on all the good times one could possibly think of with our close-knit group of friends, living our best lives.

We’ve previously highlighted that the sailor’s life isn’t always a bed of roses. Currently, our motivation to sail, particularly mine, is like a flag in the wind.

The Comforts of Solitude

After weeks of entertaining guests on Milagros, we finally found ourselves alone again. We have come to peace with our decision to head back north and welcomed solitude back to our lives with open arms.

Up. Down. Up. Down. Up. Down.

The passage to Mazatlàn took a bit of a toll on all of us. It gave us an opportunity to reflect on what lies behind and ahead of us. And ahead was where we wanted to go, after all.

Our Farewell Tour

This trip down the Sea of Cortez also marks the end of an era, unfortunately. We’re on our farewell tour. As always we make the best of the situation and go sailing, exploring, make new friends and memories.
